Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare corporate, individual, partnership, and other tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Review tax returns prepared by Associates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assume in-charge responsibilities for specific tax, accounting, and consulting engagements, overseeing the workflow and ensuring timely completion.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships through effective communication.
- Demonstrate initiative in managing tax return processes and various accounting projects from start to finish, including proactive follow-up.
- Contribute to engagement efficiency through thoughtful planning and organization.
- Provide timely and clear updates to team members on engagement status.
- Collaborate with engagement team members to identify and develop additional accounting services for existing clients.
- Organize and coordinate workflow on multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Begin to develop a specialized area of tax expertise.
- Cultivate professional contacts through networking in community events.
- Train new staff members in accounting, tax, and other relevant software.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for associates, providing guidance and supervision as needed.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve client accounting functions and offer value-added suggestions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA license or actively pursuing certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing and reviewing corporate, individual, partnership, and other tax returns.
- Proven ability to take ownership of client engagements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues. Â Â
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Â Â
- Demonstrated initiative and a proactive approach to work.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software such as CCH Access (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
