The Strategic Account Director provides high touch service to key global customers to develop and maintain strong strategic partnerships.  This role requires a blend of sales and business acumen, industry experience and mature interpersonal skills to ensure our company’s products and services meet the evolving needs of strategic accounts. Prioritized responsibility to support and enhance existing business relationships while also securing future new business awards. Facilitate collaboration at all levels of the organization and foster innovative business solutions which differentiate ATL. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, a proven record of cultivating key relationships, and a passion for delivering value-based solutions to medical device clients while delivering a gold standard of service to their respective customers.Â

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Â Â
Â
Develop, implement, and refine strategic account plans to drive growth and achieve revenue targets within assigned customer(s).Â
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, fostering trust, satisfaction, and loyalty through proactive engagement and problem solving.Â
Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling initiativesÂ
Analyze market trends, and maintain in-depth knowledge of the customer’s product portfolio, regulatory requirements, develop tailored solutions to address customer needs.Â
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, operations, quality and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction.Â
Aid in contract negotiation, pricing, and service agreements in accordance with company policies and compliance standards.Â
Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and market feedback to senior leadership.Â
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance visibility and drive market expansion.Â
Maintain accurate and timely records, sales forecasts and account activity reports including pipeline progress in the CRM system.Â
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Â

Qualifications:Â

Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, engineering or related fieldÂ
5+ years of account management or strategic sales experience in the medical device or healthcare manufacturing industry + 10 years solutions selling experience.Â
Demonstrated track record of managing large, complex accounts and achieving revenue growthÂ
Strong understanding of medical device manufacturing and purchasing processesÂ
Wider understanding of business needs, capabilities and strategies to ensure alignment with customer managementÂ
Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skillsÂ
Proficient with CRM system(s)Â
Ability to travel as neededÂ
