About the Position: 

The Pasteurizer Tech works in the production area at Innovative FlexPak to ensure that documentation, 

specifications, repairs, and cleaning assignments are correct and complete. This position requires an individual who 

is able to complete the following task in a timely manner.


What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor the pasteurization process to ensure all customer products are produced according to Specifications 
  • Filling out the appropriate  paperwork is filled out and verify the correct product is running 
  • Refer to Final Product Specifications to ensure proper temperatures and flows  are programmed  
  • Perform Hot water flushes / following  
  • Collect Titrations Samples  to submit to  the Lab 
  • Perform CIP’s 
  • Perform needed repairs 
  • Perform  required  and scheduled  PM’s 
  • Keep all support equipment ( hoses , pumps , clamps , etc. ) clean  
  • Have good trouble shooting skills 
  • Keep workstation and area clean ( free of excess product and water ) 
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the Pasteurizer area from the back wall to the Line Hoppers 
  • Monitor HACCP checks for Magnets and / Screens 
  • Maintain Kosher Compliance were applicable by ensuring pipes/ hoses / pumps / tanks / remain color coded and used appropriately 
  • CIP Chemical Barrels (change barrels) when required and maintain cleanliness of the barrels and the surrounding area, including the plastic pallets 
  • Keep pasteurizer drains clean and free /  Foam and clean daily  
  • Perform manual CIP’s when required following instructions in SOP MT006.   
  • Log product spills or waste if any on Production MBR , actual or estimated  
  • Ensure  annual  RTD ( Temperature Probes )  and flow meter calibrations are conducted 
  • Monitor temperatures and flows using form ( PA Form-2) 
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Understand and apply information set forth in SOP’s 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills 
  • Ability to handle production issues and make rational decisions  
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Pass a skills assessment exam with 70% or higher on both reading and math comprehension
