Material Handler II - 1st Shift
JOB SUMMARY
Has ability and job knowledge to perform multiple warehouse functions Such as shipping, Receiving, and materials handling duties.
Responsibilities:
Maintain pertinent files and paperwork.
Ship, receive, and handle material per appropriate departmental OPs and SOPs.
Organize warehouse storage.
Communicate outside department with associated organizations such as Manufacturing and Customer Care.
Stock shelves, or racking with either finished or in process material.
Ensure that Production materials are distributed on time and accurately.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Formal Training/Education
Education Level: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) - REQUIRED FOR CONVERSION
Experience
Experience Details: A minimum of two years related experience - REQUIRED
Are equivalencies acceptable? No
1 years of forklift experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Self motivated.
Attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word documents.
Good data entry skills.
Some communication skills required.
Training Requirements:
-QSR.
-CAPA.
-Chemical Hazards.
-FDA Compliance.
-Forklift Training.
-Safety Training.
Ability to read and write and speak at a high school or above level.
Ability to perform some complex calculations.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out some complex written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving some complex situations.
