Description:


Performs clerical duties, order and data entry utilizing multiple computer systems. Effectively communicate and facilitate all departmental orders and results to ED staff. Serves as front-line departmental ambassador in customer service. Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external personnel. Work in conjunction with the ED team in order to expedite patient care and throughput and provide excellent quality care in a family oriented hospital setting. Estimated pay range for this position is $16.28 - $19.70 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications:


Degrees:

  • High School Diploma, Certification, GED, Training or Experience

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Unit Secretary/Adm Partner desired.
  • Completion of a medical terminology course or previous experience in admitting/emergency or physician office (preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution, peer respect, critical thinking skills, self-motivated, customer service skills and/or orientation.
  • Exhibits flexibility in scheduling to adapt to special circumstance prior and ability to multitask.
