Here's The Role

Note: This position is based at our Western Maintenance Facility supporting LCRA hydroelectric dams, power plants, facility locations and other designated regional areas.

Ready to apply your technical maintenance abilities to various power plants? If so, we are seeking to find a driven Facility Operations Technician Sr to join our Facility Service team! In this position you will lead a team of technicians through complex projects. Leverage your expertise to install, maintain, and optimize essential HVAC systems across diverse critical sites. This is an opportunity to support our power plants around Marble Falls/Burnet area! 


How You’ll Contribute

  • Travel across various LCRA service areas throughout Texas which requires lodging out of town overnight for periods at a time.  
  • Respond to critical service calls outside of normal business hours to prevent delays. 
  • Perform advanced installation, troubleshooting, and repair to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment of various sizes and configurations. 
  • Conduct routing preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, including comprehensive equipment inspections, precise calibration, filter replacements, mechanical belt adjustments, and coil sanitization.  
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, compressors, direct expansion (DX), units, heat pumps, ice machines, cooling towers, pumps, and electrical motors.  
  • Lead end-to-end HVAC installation, retrofit, and upgrade initiatives by driving strategic planning, precise scheduling, efficient resource distribution, and rigorous quality assurance to consistently deliver projects on schedule and maximize customer satisfaction.

How You’re Qualified

  • Four or more years of experience in building operations and maintenance, including data center and central plant operations, commercial HVAC systems and controls, or relevant experience.
  • Driver's license

How You’ll Stand Out

  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification. 
  • Experience in commercial electrical field.  
  • Ability to analyze blueprints drawings and specifications.
