PROPAGATION TECHNICIAN - POSITION DESCRIPTION

Reports to: Cultivation Manager

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm

Job Overview: The "Propagation Technician" will perform cloning, pruning, watering, cleaning, and nutrient additive duties under the supervision of the "Clone and Mother Room Lead" and/or the Cultivation Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform cannabis plant maintenance using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including but not limited to cloning, transplanting, and pruning.
• Monitor plant health.

• Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines; including the safe and proper operation of any/all applicable machinery, instrumentation, and equipment.
• Work as member of a team to meet production schedules.
• Communicate with co-workers and management in a clear, efficient manner.
• Practice good housekeeping habits: mopping floors, sanitizing work spaces and sweeping.
• Maintain accurate records of daily production and communicate those records to management.
• Understand and apply the use of BioTrack, our seed to sale tracking program, if permitted to use the system by the Cultivation Manager.

• Work longer hours as needed, including weekends and holidays, to preserve crop integrity or meet production goals.

• Other duties as assigned.
• Me be willing and able to wear all appropriate and required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Greenhouse experience valued; not required
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs
• Ability to perform tasks sitting, standing, stretching, walking, bending, reaching
• Ability to perform repetitive motions
• Ability to work as a team player
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a State/FBI Background Check
