Key Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients and visitors in a professional and courteous mannerÂ
 • Answer and direct telephone calls while assisting with patient inquiries and requestsÂ
• Complete new patient registration and accurately enter demographic information into the electronic health record systemÂ
• Verify insurance coverage, patient demographics, and eligibility information to support accurate billing and patient recordsÂ
• Conduct patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accuratelyÂ
 • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointmentsÂ
 • Collect co-payments and self-pay balances while maintaining accurate financial recordsÂ
 • Document patient messages, requests, and concerns according to established proceduresÂ
 • Receive, scan, route, and process incoming documentation and correspondenceÂ
 • Assist with forms, referrals, medical records requests, and other patient-related documentationÂ
 • Maintain efficient patient flow and help minimize wait times throughout the dayÂ
• Utilize Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for data entry, reporting, and administrative tasksÂ
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and company policies and proceduresÂ
 • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a healthcare front office, medical office, or clerical role preferredÂ
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications requiredÂ
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferredÂ
 • Strong customer service and interpersonal skillsÂ
 • Excellent verbal and written communication abilitiesÂ
• Ability to understand and utilize medical terminologyÂ
 • Strong organizational skills and attention to detailÂ
 • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentÂ
 • Experience processing payments and using credit card terminals preferredÂ
 • Ability to build positive working relationships with patients, providers, and team membersÂ
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Creole preferred
