Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (Home-Health)

Role Overview:

• Evaluate and treat Arbor Therapy clients via Home-Health setting, managing the caseload's treatment plan and adjusting client Plan of Care, as needed
• Closely monitor and document progress, adjusting intervention as necessary to support optimal outcomes
• Engage parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process, providing education and resources to support the client's progress and development
• Complete succinct documentation of services in a timely manner
• Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), providing appropriate indirect and direct supervision requirements

Requirements:

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology or equivalent from an accredited college or university
• Active speech-language pathologist license through Arizona Department of Health Services
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• At least 2 years of professional experience (Clinical experience with clients between the ages of 0 and 30 years is highly preferred.)
• Ability to treat clients in the specified city/town/zip-codes listed
• Experience or interest in early intervention and treating developmental disabilities
• Experience or interest in feeding intervention is strongly preferred, but not required
• Experience with AAC is a plus!
• Bilingualism is a plus!

Working Conditions:

This position requires intermittent standing, lifting, kneeling, and sitting. In addition, this position may include working closely with clients who have mental, physical, and/or behavioral diagnoses and may be verbally or physically combative.
