Job Summary
The Asset Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the receiving, storage, and logistical tracking of all materials and small tools on the construction site. By maintaining a rigorous system of checks and balances, the coordinator maximizes equipment uptime, minimizes tool shrinkage, and ensures field teams have the resources necessary for safe, on-time project execution.

Core Responsibilities
Small Tools Management & Tracking
- Inventory Control: Track the issue, return, and location of small power tools and hand tools using Inventory Tracking systems or software.
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine checks on tools for safety and functionality. Coordinate major repairs with internal mechanics or external vendors.
- Loss Prevention: Implement tagging (e.g., barcodes or RFID) to prevent theft and monitor tool allocations to specific crews.
Material Receiving & Logistics

- Receiving & Verification: Unload, inspect, and verify incoming material shipments against Purchase Orders (POs) and delivery manifests.
- Damage Documentation: Process overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D) by liaising with procurement teams and suppliers.
- Staging & Distribution: Organize site laydown areas and coordinate the safe transport and delivery of materials from the warehouse to the active job zones.
- Reporting: Generate inventory reports to prevent material shortages and assist project managers with budget forecasting.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of small hand tools, construction equipment, and Material Handling Equipment.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in digital asset management software, Microsoft Office/Excel, modern inventory platforms and loss prevention
- Physical & Logistics Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects (often up to 50 lbs), load trailers, and secure loads for transportation.
- Organization & Communication: Sharp attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate daily with field crews, vendors, and management.
