About the Role:

Responsible for operating company vehicles such as vans, light trucks and autos to perform a variety of pick-up and delivery tasks and miscellaneous errands. Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to: loading, unloading and transporting materials, goods, equipment and passengers between various local destinations; utilizing manual or mechanical materials handling equipment as required; preparing, obtaining, and completing shipping receipts, material transfer orders, packing slips and similar documentation as required; performing limited maintenance on vehicles such as fueling, minor service and washing; also operating company vehicles and trucks with over two axles to perform delivery tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:
Â
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and understand safety manuals, operational instructions, and delivery documentation.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Commercial Drivers License - Class B preferred
- Certification in forklift operation or other relevant heavy equipment operation.
- Experience with GPS and route planning software for efficient delivery management.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety standards.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform minor equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
