What you’ll do on a typical day:Â
Gain understanding and experience with various functions in transportation, logistics, and quality Â
Participate in projects in the areas of logistics, network design, transportation, optimization, and qualityÂ
Work with business process owners to identify and scope areas of opportunity Â
Build solid relationships and collaborations with senior leadership and customer to support company goalsÂ
Develop hands-on experience with continuous improvement projects, quality principles, and problem-solving techniquesÂ
Learn about and participate in daily operational tasksÂ
Gain an understanding of industry trends and company initiativesÂ
Provide solutions for customers in accordance with our customer service policiesÂ
Identify and implement feasible cost savings projects to deliver P&L benefits to customer and RXOÂ
Conduct data gathering and analysis to create business case for new mode implementationÂ
Improve quality management processes that impact carrier service levels across the supply chainÂ
What you need to succeed at RXO:Â
At a minimum, you’ll need:Â
High school diploma or equivalent, and currently pursuing a bachelor’s degreeÂ
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Â
It’d be great if you also have:Â
Education toward a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration Â
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audienceÂ
Solid organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlinesÂ
High energy work style with a solid drive to succeed Â
Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; able to consult with team members and management as neededÂ
