We are looking for Grill Cook for our East Cobb Location.
Job Summary:
As the backbone of the kitchen, you are responsible for preparing ingredients that make gusto! flavorful and memorable. You will cut, chop, slice, label, date, and store food items while following gusto! food preparation standards. The Grill Cook must be respectful and professional and highly adaptable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prep all recipes according to gusto! standards and specificationsÂ
Wash designated food products in Antimicrobial fruit and vegetable treatment
Chop and slice vegetablesÂ
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredientsÂ
Store, label, and rotate all food itemsÂ
Ensure the kitchen, equipment, and all food storage areas are organized, cleaned, sanitized, and maintained according to company and health department standards
Follow all food safety guidelines
Adhere to uniform and personal hygiene standards including wearing non-slip shoes and cutting gloves
Monitor product freshness and rotate perishable and non-perishable productsÂ
Operate large-volume kitchen equipment such as grill, deep-fat fryers and other large kitchen equipment
Be comfortable standing for an entire shift and occasionally lifting items no heavier than 53 lbsÂ
Other assigned shop dutiesÂ
Qualifications & Experience:
Ability to read and follow recipe instructions accuratelyÂ
Able to work well in a team environmentÂ
Punctual, reliable, and trustworthyÂ
Ability to multitaskÂ
Ability to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and some holidays, as requiredÂ
Desire for continuous learning and professional developmentÂ
Must have reliable means of transportationÂ
Must be at least 18 years oldÂ
Food prep experience preferred but not required Â
