Job Description

Location: Marietta, OH. Relocation assistance is NOT provided.

*Onsite Interview will include a welding test

Shift Hours: Monday – Friday 4x10 1st shift hours: 5am - 3pm (rotating day off)

A Day in the Life:

We are seeking a skilled Welder II where you'll contribute to producing high-quality laboratory equipment used by pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, and research institutions.

  • Apply expertise in MIG and TIG welding to fabricate precision components according to engineering specifications.

  • Work collaboratively with team members to maintain quality standards.

  • Address technical challenges.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support other groups with tasks as needed

  • Demonstrate excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring each product meets our rigorous quality standards.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • High School Diploma/ GED required

  • Welding certification highly preferred 

Experience

  •  One (1) year of hands-on welding experience with MIG and TIG processes required.

  • Experience with quality control processes and first piece production review.

  • Experience in cGMP environment preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  •  Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and engineering specifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in setting up and operating welding equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

  • Visual acuity for detailed product assembly and inspection

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to complete required documentation including router sheets and non-conforming tickets

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and report quality issues promptly

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle bulky parts

  • Ability to stand, bend, and reach throughout shift
