These professionals will support student health, medication administration, chronic disease management, emergency response, and clinic operations in K-12 school settings. This opportunity allows clinicians to make a direct impact on student health outcomes while working in a predictable school-based schedule environment. We are looking for RNs, LPNs, Medical Assistants, and CNAs! The pay range will be based on years of experience and certifications. The position will be a full-time role with a schedule of Monday through Friday on-site in various cities across Cobb County, Georgia. School will be located in the following cities: Acworth, Marietta, Powder Springs, Smyrna, Austell, Mableton, Kennesaw, and Atlanta. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Assist with clinic operations · Support medication administration processes · Perform health screenings · Maintain records and documentation Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum Requirements: Current Medical Assistant Certification CPR/BLS Certification Minimum of 1 year experience in Nursing Hold BLS, First Aid and CPR certification Previous school nursing experience Pediatric clinical experience Experience supporting students with chronic medical conditions Experience with medication administration in educational settings Ability to communicate effectively using written and oral communication skills; Ability to use effective positive interpersonal skills; Computer proficiency including basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database software skills Strong organizational skills and time management skills Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening. Ability to assist students by action or interaction in carrying out specialized therapeutic or physical care plans and procedures; Ability to operate, maneuver and/or control the actions of special needs and therapeutic equipment; familiarity with HIPAA laws of confidentiality; Must possess knowledge of OSHA compliance standards; Must have a commitment to a core set of beliefs about learning, teaching and ongoing professional development. Knowledge of federal, state and district rules, regulations and policies as they relate to job functions Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimum supervision Ability to compose correspondence and prepare reports in an articulate manner Ability to possess a valid Geoergia driver’s license. Must have the ability to interpret program trends, results, and related data to formulate recommendations. Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong skills in planning and problem solving. Physical Requirements: Capable of working extended hours if and when the position requires it. Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed. Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, and moving objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day. Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills. Must have finger dexterity for holding objects, typing, etc.
