The Order Picker is responsible for picking the orders accurately and efficiently to meet productivity standards and is accountable for the accuracy of each order they pick. Â In performing this job, the Order Picker is routed through the warehouse by computer system using interactive picking software. Â The Order Picker operates electric and/or manual warehouse equipment.
Schedule: Â Monday - Friday
Hours of Operation: Â 9:00am - Until complete
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently picks orders without damaging products. Â
- Ensures the correct number and type of product is picked.
- Safely transports products to designated area for wrapping.
- Operates electric or manual warehouse equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
- Reports all Company property damage to the supervisor.
- Completes all work related paperwork neatly and accurately.
- Regularly reports to work each day at the scheduled starting time.
- Adheres to the established dress code.
- Understands and complies with all Atlanta Beverage Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications/Skills
- High school diploma or GED certificate required
- Must be able to read and count accurately and do simple math
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Must posses the ability to lift and/or move over 40 pounds consistently.
- Must be able to speak and hear to communicate.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Environmental Conditions and Temperaments Â
- Job duties are performed inside a warehouse facility with a moderate to loud noise level.
- Regularly exposed to cold temperatures in the warehouse facility.
