About the Role

The Training Specialist supports the delivery and ongoing improvement of training programs that build associate skills, confidence, and performance. This role focuses on facilitating engaging learning experiences while contributing to training materials, tools, and programs. You’ll apply adult learning principles in real-time delivery and collaborate with leaders to ensure training is practical and aligned with business needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and blended training across systems, products, customer service, and role-specific topics
  • Facilitate engaging learning experiences that promote participation and skill application
  • Adapt delivery approaches based on audience and learning needs

Curriculum & Content Support

  • Assist with updates to training materials, job aids, and learning resources
  • Support development of training content, including basic multimedia and participant guides
  • Apply adult learning principles to enhance engagement and retention

LMS & Learning Tools

  • Support Learning Management System (LMS) activities (course assignments, tracking, reporting)
  • Assist with course setup, updates, and documentation
  • Utilize digital tools to support training delivery and learner engagement

Coaching & Reinforcement

  • Provide post-training support, coaching, and feedback
  • Partner with managers to reinforce learning and support skill development

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Support training-related projects and initiatives
  • Gather participant feedback and share insights for program improvement
  • Stay current on emerging tools and technologies (including AI) relevant to learning
  • Will perform special projects as assigned

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (or Associate’s with relevant experience)
  • 2–4+ years of experience in training, facilitation, or a related field
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Understanding of adult learning principles
  • Ability to simplify complex information
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with LMS and digital learning tools preferred
  • Collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 50% for training delivery
  • Flexibility to support training schedules and occasional extended hours

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of an associate’s degree with 3-5+ years of banking, corporate training or related experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as required for training delivery and support
