Nursing Assistant - Medical Bed ICU, Full time, Day Shift - Marina Hospital

In this role you will be responsible for: 

• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene in the 12 bed Medical ICU.
• Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
• Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
• Answers phones and call lights.
• Ensures unit is stocked with supplies.
• Assists patient transporter as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shifts: Day Shift, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Experience: 

2 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred)

Certifications: 

• Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)
• Current BCLS certification via American Heart Associate or American Red Cross (required)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer knowledge
