Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Float to assigned unit/s: Med surg/Tele or ICU
- Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene
- Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients
- Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment
- Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit
- Answers phones and call lights
- Ensures unit is stocked with supplies
- Assists patient transporter as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Shifts: Night Shift 1930- 0700 including some weekends shifts
Qualifications
Experience:
- 1 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred)
Certifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)
- Current BCLS certification, required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in EnglishÂ
- Basic computer knowledge
Overtime Status: NONEXEMPT
Shift Length: 12 hour
Salary Range: $24 - $29.11
