Position Summary

The Subcontract Management Supervisor/Lead position is responsible for the development of project subcontract management plans and for the overall management and performance of the designated subcontracts. This role will own and ensure successful completion of key phases of the Subcontract Management process and the execution of the Subcontract and the performance management of the Subcontractor activities while supporting the RFP development, negotiation and Contract Management phases.

Domestic and international travel may be required.

 

Essential Functions

o Develop the Statement of Work (SOW), post-award Start-up and Post Award Conference (PAC)

o Maintain respective area of the Outsourcing Matrix and ensure receipt of deliverables

o Conduct Production Readiness assessments, SMT meetings and external Subcontractor status reviews

o Analyze subcontractor performance and contribute to Subcontract Progressing and Close-out activities

o Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills

o Knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, service supplements and procurement law

o Understanding of contract financing methods (progress, milestone, and performance-based payments)

o A working knowledge of the manufacturing process with MRP/PRP functions

o Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills

o Must have strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills

o Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor

o Must adhere to ISO and OSHA policies established by FMG and have high values for safety awareness

 

Education and Experience

o Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

o 6 Years of Contract Administration experience required

o US Government contracting experience is preferred
