Job Title: Field Sales Representative – Delivery Partner Program (Ohio)

Base + Uncapped Commission + Mileage Reimbursement

Job Description

This role focuses on recruiting local businesses across targeted Ohio communities to join a new delivery partner program. You will spend most of your time in the field visiting prospective businesses, presenting the program, qualifying leads, and guiding interested partners through the application process. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, drive referrals through community organizations, and support recruitment events. The position involves regular travel within a two-hour driving radius and offers uncapped commission based on partner conversions.

Responsibilities

  • Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance.
  • Present and confidently pitch the new delivery partner program to prospective businesses to generate interest and encourage them to apply.
  • Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them through the full application process.
  • Log, track, and manage all lead and pipeline activity in Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
  • Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting community recruitment events such as lunch-and-learns and town hall meetings.
  • Partner with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals.
  • Import and update Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce or the designated CRM on a weekly basis to maintain accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to prospective partners, answering questions and addressing concerns throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Proactively identify and solve problems for applicants in the field to ensure a smooth application and launch experience.
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency and professionalism while representing the program in the community.
  • Travel daily within an approximately four-hour round-trip radius to cover assigned territories and meet activity goals.

Essential Skills

  • 1–2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
  • Proven outside or field sales experience.
  • CRM experience, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to pitch, persuade, and close prospective business partners.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to manage and track a sales pipeline and lead activity in a CRM system.
  • Comfort working on the road and independently in the field for most of the week.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately four hours round trip on a daily basis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in roles involving sales negotiations with customers is a plus.
  • Field sales background is a strong advantage.
  • High level of professionalism and enthusiasm for working with others in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ownership in meeting goals and timelines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially when handling applications, data entry, and follow-up tasks.
  • Problem-solving skills to support applicants and resolve issues encountered in the field.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience working across multiple systems and technology platforms.
  • Residence in or near one of the following Ohio locations is preferred: Marion, Wooster, Sandusky, Tiffin, Wilmington, Marietta, or Lima.

Work Environment

This is a field-based role with a blend of on-the-road and remote work. You will spend approximately 3–4 days per week traveling to and visiting prospective businesses across assigned Ohio towns, typically within a two-hour driving distance from your home base. The remaining time you will work from home to manage your pipeline, update Salesforce, import Excel data, and prepare for upcoming visits and events. The role involves frequent driving, regular interaction with local business owners and community organizations, and collaboration with a Field Manager and other local contractors. The position offers uncapped commission potential, mileage reimbursement, a monthly phone allowance, and eligibility for paid time off after a successful performance review period.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
