Position Summary The Activities Director (Part-Time) at Marion Assisted Living is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing a comprehensive activities program that meets the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of residents. The Activities Director at Marion Assisted Living ensures that every resident has the opportunity to participate in meaningful and engaging activities that enhance their quality of life. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and lead daily activities and events at Marion Assisted Living Develop a monthly activities calendar tailored to resident interests and abilities Facilitate group and one-on-one activities at Marion Assisted Living Encourage resident participation and build strong relationships with residents Coordinate special events, holiday celebrations, and themed activities at Marion Assisted Living Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall resident experience Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and organization at Marion Assisted Living Document resident participation and engagement as required Ensure activities meet all regulatory and safety standards Create a welcoming, inclusive, and energetic atmosphere at Marion Assisted Living   QualificationsQualifications Previous experience in activities, recreation, or senior living preferred Passion for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life at Marion Assisted Living Creative, energetic, and engaging personality Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to lead groups and adapt activities to various ability levels Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented mindset Ability to work independently while supporting the mission of Marion Assisted Living Schedule Part-Time position Flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays to support activities at Marion Assisted Living At Marion Assisted Living, we are committed to creating a community where residents feel connected, valued, and inspired.
