The primary responsibility of the Benefits Administrator II is to assist with administering and maintaining employee benefits programs.聽 This role ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and provides guidance and support on benefits and leave related matters.

Benefits Administration
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Administers and maintains one or more employee benefits programs
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Processes enrollments, changes, terminations, and claims for benefits plans
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinates with benefits vendors, brokers, and consultants to ensure quality service and compliance with contracts and agreements.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supports implementation of benefit program improvements

Record Keeping, Reporting and Invoice Management
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures accuracy and timeliness of data and records
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prepares and files required reports and documents as directed
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Reconciles and audits benefit invoices and payments, and resolves any discrepancies or errors

Compliance and Communication
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, such as ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, ADA, FMLA, etc.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Educates and communicates the benefits plans and policies to employees and managers

Employee Support
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assists with benefits related projects and initiatives
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Answers employee questions (Tier 2) on Benefits policies, processes, and programs. Escalates as needed to the appropriate team member

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Stays current with industry trends and best practices through regular research and professional development
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develops and maintains relevant skills
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs any other duties and tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in benefits administration
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Certification in Benefits and Compensation Management (CBCM) or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) is required
- Deep understanding of employee benefits programs and compliance with laws and regulations such as ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, ADA, FMLA, etc.
- Experience in educating and communicating benefits plans and policies to employees and managers
Experience in coordinating with benefits vendors, brokers, and consultants
