With a team of highly skilled doctors and staff, we are committed to helping our patients achieve and maintain optimal eye health. We are seeking a motivated Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient experiences and supporting our doctors in delivering top-quality eye care. Responsibilities: Greet patients, obtain medical histories, and prepare them for exams. Perform preliminary eye tests such as visual acuity, refraction, visual fields, and tonometry. Assist doctors with eye exams, minor procedures, and treatments. Maintain and clean instruments and equipment. Educate patients on eye health, medications, and post-procedure care. Enter accurate data into electronic health records (EHR). Ensure exam rooms are stocked and organized. Support a smooth clinical flow by coordinating with doctors and other team members. Qualifications: Previous experience in eye care or a medical office preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. Strong communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail with a focus on patient care and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Basic computer and data entry skills.
