Radiant Health is looking for compassionate, recovery-focused individuals to join our team as a Peer Support Specialist. Your lived experience is your greatest strength. By sharing your journey and walking alongside others, you'll help individuals overcome addiction, mental illness, and co-occurring disorders while building healthier, more meaningful lives. What you'll Do As a Peer Support Specialist, you'll work alongside therapists, providers, case managers, and community partners to provide recovery-focused support for individuals seeking lasting recovery. You'll: Build trusting, supportive relationships with clients. Help individuals identify personal recovery goals and develop realistic actionplans. Encourage hope while celebrating progress and personal achievements. Teach coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and healthy communication. Help clients recognize their strengths and overcome barriers to recovery. Support employment, education, and community involvement. Connect clients with valuable community resources. Advocate for clients during treatment team meetings and appointments. Serve as a positive role model by sharing your own recovery experience appropriately. Support all pathways of recovery, including Medication-Assisted Treatment(MAT). Complete documentation accurately and maintain client confidentiality. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Willing to obtain Certified Peer Support certification within 6 months of employment. Must have personal, lived experience in their own recovery from addiction, mental illness, or co-occurring substance and mental disorders. Minimum recovery time of 1-2 years Experience working in behavioral health, social work, case management, or related field preferred Must have a valid drivers license
