Baristas make this goal a reality in quality customer service, consistent drink preparation, bettering themselves as coffee connoisseurs, and serving their team, coworkers,  and community with a standard of continued growth.  Customer Relations:  Greets all customers with fast and personalized service and develops rapport with customers by learning names, favorite drink, etc.  Takes and fulfills customer orders in a friendly, quick manner all while maintaining top level quality Answers and kindly explains questions about The Abbey product line as well as the café vision  Café:  Maintains merchandise including: Whole Bean Coffee, Chocolates, Abbey Mugs and other related products Responsible to clean: bar area, café seating and tables, guest restroom, kitchen area, in house dishes and other areas as assigned by Café Manager Bakes and sells pastries for daily sales Restocks supplies and updates stock count Restock merchandise and whole bean offering Follows training guidelines for drink preparation to maintain a consistent experience between customer visits  Continuously seeks development in knowledge of coffee and tea offerings Prepares seasonal drinks, syrups, and other bar used ingredients  Requirements and Qualifications:  Must be able to maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout whole working shift  Must be willing to provide top level customer service and hold a high level of kindness and patience with each and every customer Strong verbal communication skills required Be able to stand for up to 5-9 hour shift  Well organized and detail oriented Passion for coffee and desire to grow knowledge outside of planned training High School Degree Required
