Shipper

The Shipper is responsible for efficiently and accurately loading and unloading trucks, labeling, scanning, and picking orders. The ideal candidate will possess forklift certification for a minimum of 2 years and demonstrate proficiency in various shipping tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.  This is a 1st shift position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain forklift certification to safely operate forklift equipment.
• Operate forklift to move product, load and unload trucks.
• Read and understand the Pick Ticket to ensure product is correctly pulled and staged.
• Re-label boxes as needed.
• Utilize scanning devices to move and track products throughout the shipping process.
• Create master labels for efficient identification and tracking of shipments.
• Unload trucks and move product to designated areas, following established procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Lead, providing updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years experience in shipping or warehouse operations.
• Strong consistent work history.
• Forklift Certified 2 or more years.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must be punctual and dependable
