Financial Analyst 2 – Global Services FP&A

Hologic is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Global Service FP&A team. This individual will be an integral team member responsible for providing critical financial analysis and insights related to Global Service costs to help drive business decisions and results. You’ll be joining a team of highly engaged and passionate individuals supporting Global Services across all divisions of Hologic.

 

What you can expect:

  • Serve as a key finance partner to the Global Services Supply Chain team with primary responsibility for Service COGS and related operating expenses, including work order trends, parts consumption, departmental spend, and the financial impacts of Service-driven projects and initiatives.
  • Own reporting, forecasting, and planning for Service COGS and other cost areas, including monthly/quarterly close support, variance analysis vs. budget/forecast, and preparation of materials for divisional and executive reviews.
  • Provide IBP support by partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, and FP&A to align demand, supply, and financial plans, translating operational drivers into P&L impacts.
  • Perform warranty and service cost analysis (labor, parts, logistics) to support accrual methodologies, identify cost drivers
  • Support E&O and service inventory analysis by evaluating slow-moving/obsolete parts, tracking inventory levels, and quantifying P&L impacts and mitigation plans.
  • Identify savings opportunities and build ROI / business cases for cost-efficiency, productivity, and spend-optimization projects across COGS and functional budgets, tracking benefits realization and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Conduct vendor analysis to evaluate cost, performance, pricing, and rebates, and support vendor strategy and contract negotiations with data-driven insights.
  • Perform margin and profitability analysis across products, regions, and service offerings, highlighting mix, pricing, and cost drivers and recommending actions to improve Service margins and overall cost structure.
  • Develop and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and financial models to support Service COGS analysis, automate recurring reporting, and improve data quality and decision support.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and Service leadership to ensure proper accounting, consistent methodologies, and clear communication of financial insights, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide ad hoc financial and cost analysis as needed to support business decisions. 

 

What we expect: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Advanced analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Confidence interacting with and presenting to all levels of management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Working knowledge of Oracle ERP systems and Hyperion (or similar planning tools)
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP
  • Role is based onsite in Marlborough, MA

Additional Info:

The annualized base salary range for this role is $65,500 to $102,400 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
