Description

Summary/Objective

This position supports the daily operations of the Revenue Cycle Management Department by providing administrative and operational assistance to the RCM team.

Essential Functions

路 Provide administrative support for the Revenue Cycle Management Department, including daily lockbox correspondence reconciliation.

路 Research and reconcile correspondence to accurately match it to the appropriate patient account.

路 Route correspondence, attach documentation to patient records, and notify the appropriate parties based on the nature of the correspondence.

路 Ensure timely handoff of correspondence to Advocare RCM and eCW-RCM.

路 Maintain departmental files, reports, documentation, and related records.

路 Monitor assigned work and ensure appropriate follow-up is completed.

路 Communicate system, site, and operational issues to the RCM Manager in a timely manner.

路 Assist with departmental projects and process improvement initiatives.

路 Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, quality, and cost savings.

路 Perform other duties as assigned.

路 Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with PDF editing software (e.g., Adobe, Foxit).

路 Prior experience with healthcare, physician billing, revenue cycle management preferred.

路 Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

路 Effective verbal and written communication skills.

路 Ability to work independently and collaboratively while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
