TheĀ purpose ofĀ a Senior Benefits Analyst is to provide client service support to Employee Benefits team through benefit administration, customer service, andĀ Ā
efficient processes to support the retention of clients.Ā
Ā
How You Will Contribute:āÆāÆĀ
Provide excellent customer service to the clientsā employee membership by researching and resolving inquiriesĀ inĀ accordance withĀ established policies, procedures, and guidelines, and communicating findings back to theĀ employee, client, and/orĀ appropriateĀ accountĀ team.Ā Ā
AssistĀ in the training and development of new teammates to ensure successful acclimation to the profit center andĀ clear understanding of the defined processes and procedures related to the customer service/member advocacy andĀ enrollmentĀ functions.Ā Ā
Process client requests for eligibility changes, including new enrollments, terminations, and other election andĀ demographicĀ changes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.Ā
Understand health andĀ benefitsĀ products, services, and toolsĀ in order toĀ educate membership of what is availableĀ through their existing program(s).Ā
Document andĀ maintainĀ client information inĀ agencyĀ management databaseĀ in accordance withĀ establishedĀ policies, procedures, and guidelines.Ā Ā
Partner with Account Executive teams to process and file Insurance Operations (IO) compliance documents intoĀ the agency management database for renewals and newĀ business, andĀ assistĀ with ad hoc projects.Ā Ā
Establish,Ā cultivate,Ā and manage relations with carriers, vendors, and clients.Ā
Conduct routine audits to ensure client requests are reflected accurately.Ā Ā
AssistĀ in client specific projects as assigned, including but not limited to preparing annual enrollment materialsĀ for the service team.Ā
Participate in training opportunities to remain current on technology, industry information, new productĀ development, legislation, andĀ coverages.Ā
Ā
Licenses & Certifications:āÆāÆĀ
Insurance Producer license in good standing (Life, Health and Accident, and other authorities in states needed toĀ service the assigned book of business). Required withinĀ 60 daysĀ of hire.Ā
Ā
Skills & Experience to be Successful:āÆĀ
3+ years of experience in insurance industry/group benefits, human resources, or relatedĀ field.Ā Ā
Working knowledge in employee benefit insuranceĀ coverages.Ā
Proficient knowledge in computer-based programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point,Ā and Publisher).Ā Ā
ProficientĀ knowledge ofĀ use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, bindingĀ machine, etc.)Ā
Pay Range
65000 - 70000 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
