Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic Care Coordinator – Digestive and Liver 

Job Type: Full-Time | 1.0 FTE or 80 hours/pp | Salaried/Exempt

Schedule: 8-hour Day shifts, M-F, 7:30a – 4p or 8a – 4:30p

Join a supportive, patient-centered team caring for patients with complex gastrointestinal and liver conditions. As an RN Coordinator, you'll play a key role in care coordination, patient education, triage, and collaboration with providers to deliver seamless, high-quality care. This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialized expertise while making a meaningful impact on patients' lives in a collaborative outpatient setting.

 

How you'll contribute

A Clinic Care Coordinator RN who excels in this role:

  • Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.

  • Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical services.

  • Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of QA/QI initiatives. 

  • Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures.

  • Monitors departmental compliance with applicable requirements, including accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred). 

 

Additional requirements include

  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

  • Five (4) years of healthcare experience
