Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, a well-respected and busy orthopaedic practice, is recruiting a full-time Clinical Office Lead for our Seven Fields location. We are looking for motivated healthcare professionals who want to grow with an expanding organization while making a meaningful impact on patients and their communities. Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills, a passion to help our patients and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment with a positive and upbeat attitude. While prior management experience is preferred, this position could also be an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Radiologic Technologist/Medical Assistant/LPN who is ready to take the next step into leadership. This dual-role position combines clinical care, Team leadership and day-to-day office oversight to ensure the smooth running of the clinic while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. The Clinical Lead serves as a resource for Staff and Providers, provides direction in the absence of the Manager and ensures adherence to performance expectations and operational policies.

General Job Description/Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Monday through Friday daylight hours
    • Must stay until office hours are finished and all patients are seen (latest scheduled Staff)
    • No evening or weekend hours
  • Working collectively alongside Physicians/Physician Assistants
    • Assisting with minor procedures such as wound care
  • Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Triaging patients, medical history updates, EMR documentation
    • Suture/staple removal
    • Injection preparation for Providers
    • Bracing/DME instruction
    • Assisting in electronically sending medications
    • Ordering advanced imaging (MRI/CT/US/Bone Scan)
    • Surgery scheduling if/when necessary
    • Helping to maintain accurate, timely and compliant clinical and administrative documentation

Key Responsibilities – Clinical Lead:

  • Overseeing daily clinic flow to ensure efficiency, professionalism and an excellent patient experience
  • Supporting Staff scheduling, daily assignments, training and Team accountability
  • Helping to onboard and mentor additional Staff Members
  • Monitoring clinic readiness, including exam rooms, supplies, equipment and overall organization
  • Maintaining inventory of medical supplies and assisting with ordering as needed
  • Promoting a positive, Team-oriented, patient-centered work environment
  • Supporting compliance with infection control, safety and operational standards

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • Prior clinical management experience in a similar clinical setting
  • Strong leadership potential or prior experience as a Lead Radiologic Technologist, Lead Medical Assistant, Clinical Lead or Office Lead
  • Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills
  • A dependable, Team-first attitude
  • Confidence working and guiding a Team in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality patient care
  • Comfort with EMR documentation and basic clinical workflows
  • Ability to lead by example and support patients, Providers and Team Members

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in a healthcare setting; experience in private practice is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with Providers, administrators, Staff and patients
  • Willingness to take initiative and responsibility for actions
  • Open to constructive criticism and feedback when necessary
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and third-party vendors
