Job Summary
This role accelerates business values by utilizing last-mile routing software to plan and publish light-duty routes for the Reddy Ice ecosystem on a daily and monthly basis. This role will primarily be responsible for planning routes associated with our field service equipment technicians. When required, this position will assist in nightly heavy duty (HD) assets route planning operations.

Leads, collaborates and demonstrates the lean principles and utilizes the lean methodologies and tools to facilitate continuous process improvements and value creation for our customers, employees and shareholders. Actively utilizes lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, A3, etc.) to inform and assess business opportunities to drive continuous improvement. Lead and participate in Kaizen and value stream mapping activities.
Education and Experience Required:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ Years of experience with last mile delivery software
- 3+ years of experience in route planning
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Education and Experience Preferred:
- 4 year college degree
- Roadnet routing software
- Strong analytical skills

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Work will be performed in an office setting 3-4 days per week. Must be available to work some weekends. Overtime may be required. Work is conducted in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. The ability to manage stress, build professional and collaborative relationships and reason through complex business situations is essential.
