Do you enjoy helping people, leading a team, and connecting families with resources that make a real difference? As the Energy Assistance Program Assistant Manager, you'll help families access critical resources, support program operations, and lead a team that makes a lasting impact in our communities. Â
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead Program Operations: Support EAP, ERR, and Crisis programs while assisting with staff supervision and training.
- Assist Households in Crisis: Determine eligibility and connect families with emergency energy assistance.
- Build Community Partnerships: Work with vendors, contractors, and local agencies to support participants.
- Maintain Program Compliance: Manage documentation, reporting, and program requirements.
- Support Staff Development: Help train, coach, and guide team members.
- Promote Program Awareness: Participate in outreach and education efforts throughout the service area.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
   • One to two years of post-secondary education or related experience.
   • Experience in customer service, human services, or a related field.
Preferred:
   • Experience working with low-income households.
   • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
   • Knowledge of energy assistance or community service programs.
   • Familiarity with heating systems and terminology.
