This role is crucial in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while adhering to all health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and consistency. - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food service area, including equipment, utensils, and workspaces. - Assist in the setup and breakdown of food service stations, ensuring all items are properly stocked and available. - Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, following all operational guidelines. - Monitor food inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor. - Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. - Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and disposal procedures. - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective food service operations. - Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay informed about new policies, procedures, and menu changes. QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Required Experience: - Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is advantageous. - Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a cafeteria or institutional setting, is desirable. - Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is beneficial.
