Maintenance Planner
About the Team:
This role is responsible for leading maintenance and reliability activities in an automated electronics manufacturing environment, including equipment performance improvement, preventive and corrective maintenance planning, spare parts management, technician development, and vendor coordination. The position requires strong leadership, technical troubleshooting, automation experience, and a continuous improvement mindset to maximize equipment uptime, safety, and operational efficiency.

What you can look forward to as Maintenance Planner:
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring clear work scope, stakeholder communication, and availability of parts, tools, and resources.
- Monitor equipment performance and downtime, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve machine reliability and availability.
- Develop, maintain, and improve equipment, process, and preventive maintenance documentation, including PMs for new equipment and cells.
- Manage maintenance projects, machine overhauls, equipment upgrades, assembly line moves, and annual major maintenance events.
- Oversee spare parts management, including inventory control, sourcing, ordering, and support for new equipment launches.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance activities, including work order creation, scheduling, follow-up, and compliance-related maintenance tasks.
- Lead and support technicians through coaching, training, performance development, and effective communication with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Manage equipment and service vendors, support technology development, benchmarking, reporting, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Your profile as Maintenance Planner:Â
- Minimum 3 years of experience in printed circuit board final assembly, electronics manufacturing, or a comparable automated assembly environment.
- Experience supporting multi-shift manufacturing operations through leadership, strategic planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven management, team-building, and employee motivation skills.
- Hands-on experience providing technical support for automated manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Proficiency in computer systems, data analysis, troubleshooting, and identifying performance trends.
- Familiarity with PC-controlled automation systems and the ability to learn and apply technical methodologies and best practices.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, continuous improvement, and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret mechanical CAD drawings, electrical schematics, machine prints, and plant layouts.
