This position will perform collection, movement, sorting, and processing of all wastes and by products in a fast paced manufacturing facility environment safely and in accordance with Company, Federal, State, and local regulations/rules.

Essential Functions

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Load and unload solid and liquid waste & recyclables safely in accordance with Company, Federal, State and local regulations/rules.
  • Utilize hand trucks, pallet jacks, fork trucks with attachments and other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the facility.
  • Safety operate equipment to process materials including balers, shredders, grinders, extractors, pumps, tanks and pressure washers
  • Properly sort materials based on pre-established guidelines for additional processing.
  • Perform cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
  • Utilize knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.

  • Preferred High School or Equivalent


Experience Qualifications

  • Preferred Prior forklift experience


Skills and Abilities

  • This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function.
  • Basic knowledge of EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations preferred.
  • Ability to understand general industry practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
