As a Senior IT Systems Support Analyst at our office in Marshall, MN, you will support, manage, and enhance our IT systems infrastructure—keeping our production moving, employee’s technology up, running, and secure.

What You Will Do:

  • Creates, maintains, directs, and manages all desktop and laptop integrated software images, including there-engineering, integration and validation of new software releases, custom code, third party packages and patches within our standard environment
  • Recommends and manages the image releases with external equipment suppliers
  • Develops and deploys automation scripts, utilizing Microsoft's technical scripting tool, to enable customer ease of use for desktop technologies, and automated solution delivery through the software distribution infrastructure
  • Proactively and efficiently researches and engineers emerging technology features and functions within our standard environment and processes
  • Directs, develops and executes new Windows and Office deployment project plans and schedules
  • Ensures third party support contractors meet the defined service levels and directs communication in support of contract requirements
  • Works with Development on the testing of new client based applications and impact of new software on existing Microsoft software such as IE and Windows OS
  • Reviews lessons learned and best practices to expand the knowledge base amongst peers and makes suggestions as to adjustments in processes and procedures
  • Resolves critical virus/intrusion attempts on a 24/7 basis
  • Mentors lesser experienced support engineers, enabling self-improvement amongst the team
  • Assists other technology engineers in defined project activities
  • Green belt, actively participates in Lean/CI (Continuous Improvement) events, and complete tasks in implementation plan to achieve business process improvements.
  • Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.

What We Look For:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience, including Technical Support Analyst experience
  • Expertise in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and scripting tools
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, operating systems, and networking
  • Ability to provide strong customer service including written and verbal communication
  • Solid understanding of network concepts and IT best practices
  • Proven ability to deliver effective, client-focused IT solutions
  • Motivated to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

What We Offer:
The base salary range for this position is $54,000 to $72,000 annually, with eligibility for a 5% annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance. The range reflects factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and starting salary may fall anywhere within the stated range.
