Academics - BiologyJob Summary/Basic Function
The Department of Biology at Dickinson College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology position to teach upper-level Human Anatomy and Physiology courses during the 2026-2027 academic year. Experience teaching with human cadavers is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will teach five courses per academic year, which will include Biology 333: Human Physiology with Lab and Biology 336: Human Anatomy with Lab.
A Ph.D. in Anatomy, Physiology, or a closely related field by the time of appointment is preferred (ABD considered). The Department is seeking outstanding candidates with the potential for exceptional teaching and research. Candidates must have the ability to create learning environments that are inclusive and welcoming to all students.
