Join the Inpatient Pharmacy team at Marshalltown Hospital and play an important role in supporting safe, accurate, and timely patient care throughout the hospital. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with pharmacists, nursing teams, and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative hospital environment focused on quality care and service excellence.

Responsibilities
- Prepare, package, label, and distribute medications under pharmacist supervision
- Deliver medications and restock automated medication dispensing systems throughout the hospital
- Support medication order processing and pharmacy workflow operations
- Assist with medication compounding and preparation activities
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, monitor stock levels, and remove outdated medications
- Receive and process medication deliveries from wholesalers and suppliers
- Enter and update patient and medication information within pharmacy systems
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare teams to support safe patient care
- Assist with routine pharmacy operations and departmental tasks as needed
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma (or GED)
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
