As a Registered Nurse in the Wound Healing Center at UnityPoint Health – Marshalltown, you'll provide specialized, compassionate care to patients with complex and chronic wounds while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team in a collaborative outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care for patients receiving specialized wound treatment.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, wound care, and strategies that support healing.
- Coordinate care with providers and community resources to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and clinical outcomes.
- Utilize critical thinking and sound clinical judgment to provide safe, effective patient care.
- Delegate and collaborate with other healthcare team members to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
- Promote patient safety by following established policies, infection prevention practices, and quality standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance clinical expertise.
Qualifications
Education:Â
- Associates Degree in Nursing from Accredited Nursing School
Â
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Current license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing.
