Together, we build not just products, but a culture of excellence and collaboration.  The Process Engineer is responsible for process and product development activities within the manufacturing processes at the plant to maintain quality, performance and new product introductions. The Process Engineer manages continuous improvement initiatives and provides support to all function within the manufacturing operations. The Process Engineer provides customer support for product performance issues and works with suppliers for equipment and raw material needs. Requirements •    Responsible for product and process development activities within area of responsibility. •    Utilizes project management techniques to plan, control, and monitor the activities and resources required for successful completion of continuous                        improvement projects.  •    Conducts qualification studies on new processes and/or products.  •    Provides quality surveillance monitoring process and quality data for compliance to specifications and assist in the trouble shooting activities.  •    Provides data analysis and technical support to manufacturing and quality functions. •    Provide training support to manufacturing and quality functions. •    Prepares and supports standard operating procedures as •    Conducts process capability studies. •    Provides the leadership role in problem solving and working within multifunctional teams. •    Interacts with customers relative to product performance needs. •    Interacts with suppliers for equipment and process development •    Helps establish product and process specifications. Qualifications•    Polymer or Plastics manufacturing experience  •    Education in Polymer or Plastic Science  •    Bachelor’s degree is a plus •    2-year degree required •    Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus. •    Intermediate MS Office skills strongly desired. MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint. •    Must be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
