Now Hiring: Warehouse Service Representative

What You’ll Do

As a Warehouse Service Representative, you’ll be a key player in keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly and efficiently. This hands-on role combines customer service, inventory management, teamwork, and equipment operation in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

You’ll work closely with our counter sales, dispatch, and yard teams to ensure customers receive outstanding service and accurate, timely orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist walk-in customers with warehouse orders 
• Pick and prepare delivery orders for truck shipments 
• Reorder and restock warehouse inventory 
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and lift trucks 
• Unload incoming inventory and verify shipment accuracy 
• Perform inventory counts and maintain organized stock levels 
• Support counter sales operations when needed 
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard 
• Assist with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to safely operate a lift truck 
• Strong attention to safety procedures and warehouse practices 
• Ability to work extended hours when needed 
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions 
• Ability to climb ladders, reach overhead, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the day 
• Willingness to perform hands-on tasks such as bagging materials, sweeping, and using hand tools 
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude 

Work Environment

This role involves working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, dust, and wind. Safety is always a top priority, and all work is performed in accordance with York Building Products safety standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds 
• Ability to safely operate equipment and machinery throughout the workday
