POSITION SUMMARY:
We seek a highly motivated Sanitation Technician/Driver to join our expanding company. This person will have prior Sanitation experience and will add value to the department.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Operate heavy-duty vacuum trucks for delivery, pick-up, and servicing of rental equipment portable toilets, sinks and holding tanks.
- Service includes pumping, cleaning, repairing, and re-supplying all rental equipment according to B.A.T.S. standards.
- Driver will transport the waste material to a disposal facility when trucks reach legal load capacity.
- Driver navigates high traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, lots, construction sites and areas with high public traffic.
- Special Events - be available to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Yard support by organizing, cleaning, and performing audit counts of rental equipment or supplies.
- Be flexible with continuous changes with the growth of the company including fencing.
- Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and visions.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE AMAZING AT B.A.T.S:
- Valid CA Class C – Commercial Driver’s License with Endorsements (minimum 1-year experience) and clear driving history
- Strong verbal, writing, and math skills
- Pass a background/physical/drug screen and must have a clean DMV record
- High school diploma or General Education Degree
- Sanitation experience as a driver/pumper, following daily route instructions
- Excellent multi-tasking ability and time management skills

- Able to follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures at all times
- Able to follow communicate efficiently with the Customers
- Strong verbal, writing, and math skills
- Good organizational & time management skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk/stand for long periods of time
- Ability to safely follow instructions and communicate efficiently
- Able to work over overtime and weekends
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends for the busy “seasons” and special events
