Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a well-established gastroenterology practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia. This is a full-time opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment delivering high-quality GI care across outpatient and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal and hepatologic conditions
• Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations
• Manage follow-up visits, medication management, and patient education
• Collaborate closely with gastroenterology physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary teams
• Participate in inpatient consults and outpatient clinic visits as assigned
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
• Adhere to evidence-based practices and quality standards

Schedule

• Full-time position
• 40 hours per week
• Primarily weekday schedule (exact clinic hours may vary)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current (or ability to obtain) West Virginia NP or PA license
• NCCPA certification (PA) or national NP certification
• Prior gastroenterology experience preferred, but not required
