What You'll Do
As a Dispatcher, you'll play a critical role in coordinating deliveries for a national customer account while ensuring exceptional service and operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Dispatch delivery orders to agent partners and independent contractor drivers.
  • Plan and assign next-day delivery routes based on priorities and available resources.
  • Monitor deliveries and provide real-time updates through customer portals.
  • Communicate with drivers and agents regarding routing, special instructions, and delivery requirements.
  • Provide outstanding customer service via phone and email to customers, drivers, and internal team members.
  • Enter and manage customer orders accurately in our transportation management system.
  • Prepare, process, and audit pricing and agent invoices.
  • Troubleshoot shipment issues and resolve customer service concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Coordinate agent coverage to support customer delivery volume.
  • Lead training for agent partners on customer-specific requirements.
  • Assist with deliveries when operational needs require.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
  • Required Qualifications
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint).
    • Ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Experience in courier, transportation, logistics, dispatch, or delivery operations.
    • Experience using transportation management systems (TMS), especially CXT.
