Responsibilities

Provides medically prescribed physical therapy services to restore function, improve mobility, and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary disorders. Performs care in accordance with department protocols, hospital policy, and state and federal regulatory, licensing, and accrediting requirements.

  • Conduct patient evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
  • Document patient progress following regulatory and hospital standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Participate in quality improvement and compliance activities.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current state Physical Therapy license
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required.
