This hourly role follows the Scotts/Hawthorne step pay progression scale and typically starts at $29.40 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

We are looking for a Process Operator who will join our Scotts Miracle Gro team in Marysville, OH.

Starting pay of $29.40 per hour!

 What you’ll do in this role:

  • Calibrate and monitor feeders, process conditions, and flow rates to ensure that formulation standards are being met

  • Maintain accurate records of raw materials and the supply of raw materials to the process

  • Read labels on all raw material chemical bags to ensure proper use of the chemicals in the designated areas.

  • Operate front-end loaders, trackmobile, and forklifts to transport raw materials, rail cars, and waste

  • Perform reblending, PM activities, and cleaning tasks to maintain the operation of all equipment and conveying systems.

  • Collect samples and data, maintain accurate records, and complete inspections and audits.  

  • Follow all safety procedures and practices and use proper safety attire for each specific job assigned or area involved. 

  • Use computers to operate production equipment and monitor operations.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills.

  • Strong communication both verbal and written.

  • Good personal computers skills (Excel, Word, MSDS Center)

  • Must possess the aptitude to make sound judgments in regards to associate safety

  • Ability to plan and prioritize multiple work assignments.

  • Ability to operate forklift, end loader, and track mobile.

  • Follow all Safety Guidelines to ensure that all associates remain uninjured.
