PAY: The expected hiring range for this position is from $16.86 to $19.83 plus additional bonus opportunity. The stated hiring range is based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Final compensation decisions will take into account a variety of considerations, including individual skills, internal equity, and organizational needs

JOB SUMMARY:Ā 

TheĀ Document Imaging ClerkĀ is responsible for preparing and scanning customer files and other internal customer documents into IBM’s Kofax Validation and OnBase modules.Ā This roleĀ reports to the Document Imaging and Validation Team Lead.Ā Ā 

Ā 

JOB FUNCTIONS:Ā 

Document ImagingĀ 

  • Scans documents according to batch class, ensuring text is clear and visible.Ā 

  • Sets up loans and reorders documents according to document type, importance, and final delivery point.Ā 

  • Sends documents to appropriate departments after imaging.Ā 

  • Processes incoming packages and logs individual loans.Ā 

  • Sorts loans according to document type and priority.Ā 

  • FilesĀ as a system of organization and storage for all documents.Ā 

  • Validates documents in the Kofax system promptly and efficiently.Ā 

  • Audits packages and documents.Ā 

  • Ensures RightFax emails are handled.Ā 

  • Images and logs complaints,Ā custodials, and processes checks.Ā 

Ā 

Cross Team Collaboration and CommunicationĀ 

  • Cross trains on Validation tasks and works on a rotating schedule with frequently changing tasks and responsibilities.Ā 

  • Works closely withĀ Senior andĀ TeamĀ Lead to identify opportunities and provide solutions onĀ imagingĀ processes.Ā Ā 

Ā 

Intercompany Departmental SupportĀ 

  • Serves Originations team with imaging loan processing documents.Ā 

  • Supports VMF Servicing teams with imaging mortgage account documents.Ā Ā 

  • Supports Retail with imaging sales and home center accounting documents.Ā Ā 

Ā 

Other duties as assignedĀ Ā

QUALIFICATIONS:Ā 

  • Education:Ā Ā High School diploma or equivalent required.Ā 

  • Experience:Ā  0 – 1 year experienceĀ 

  • General proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)Ā 

  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email, and person to person.Ā 

  • Capability of gathering facts accurately, analyzing causes, evaluating alternate solutions, and arriving at sound conclusions on action to be taken.Ā 

  • Ability to manage multiple and/or conflicting responsibilities.Ā 

  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills.Ā 

  • Ability to work in a team environment.Ā 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Ā 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.Ā 

  • Will be constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.Ā 

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information at all times.Ā 

  • Must be able to identify and assess account status and determine appropriate process.Ā 

  • Will constantly work in a state-of-the-art indoor temperature controlled, sealed window office environment.Ā
