Sports Reporter

The Daily Times is seeking an energetic and dedicated reporter to cover sports in Blount and surrounding counties. 

 The job includes game coverage, features, preps notebook, enterprise reporting and selecting high school all-star teams by sport. In addition, the job includes covering Maryville College and University of Tennessee sports. The candidate must be comfortable with taking photos and video, and must be adept at using social media both for storytelling and to find story ideas. 

The job requires regularly working nights and occasionally working weekends. Submit at least three writing samples with your resume and cover letter to Mike Sisco at  mike.sisco@thedailytimes.com.
